It deals with the famous folkloric Egyptian funny character named “Guha”\n narrated in MSA by Ahmed Godamy and translated and narrated in English by Om Ahmad.\nNow to the story\nجحا والرجل الأكول\ntoday’s story is entitled Goha and the glutton Man\nفي يوم من الأيام\nOne day\nطرق رجل بدين جدا باب جحا\nA very fat man knocked Goha`s door\nفتح جحا الباب\nGoha opened the door\nفوجد أمامه رجلا شديد البدانة\nAnd found a very obese man\nفسأله\nHe asked him \nمن أنت؟\nWho are you \nوماذا تريد؟\nAnd what do you want\nقال الرجل:\nThe man said\nأنا قادم من بلدة بعيدة\nI came from a far country\nوتوقفت هنا لأستريح من عناء السفر\nAnd stopped here to take rest from travelling bother\nرحب جحا بالرجل\nGoha welcomed the man\nوأدخله داره\nAnd took him home\nولما حان وقت الغداء\nAt lunch time\nاستأذنه جحا حتى يعد له الطعام\nGoha asked permission to make the food for him\nأحضر جحا الخبز أولا\nGoha brought the bread first\nووضعه فوق المائدة\nAnd put it on the dining table\nوذهب ليحضر الطعام\nThen he went to bring the food\nوإذا بالضيف البدين\nThe obese visitor\nيلتهم الخبز كله\nDevoured all the bread\nعاد جحا يحمل أطباقا مملوءة بالخضر المطهي\nGoha came back with dishes full of cooked vegetables\nولكنه نظر إلى المائدة\nBut when he looked to the table\nفلم يجد الخبز\nHe didn’t find the bread\nعاد جحا ليأتي بخبز آخر\nGoha went to bring another bread\nوإذا بالضيف يلتهم كل ما في الأطباق من طعام\nSoon, the visitor devoured all the food in the dishes\nولم يترك بها شيئا\nAnd he left nothing\nأحضر جحا الخبز ونظر إلى الأطباق\nGoha brought the bread and he looked to the dishes\nفلم يجد بها شيئا\nBut he found nothing\nأخذ جحا الأطباق الفارغة ليملأها طعامًا وترك الخبز على المائدة\nGoha took the empty dishes to fill it with food and he left the bread on the table\nوعاد فلم يجد أثرًا للخبز\nWhen he came back he didn’t find the bread\nوهكذا استمر الحال عدة مرات\nAnd this continued to happen many times\nحتى نفد الطعام والخبز في البيت\nThe food and the bread in the house finished\nسأل جحا الضيف قائلا\nGoha asked the visitor\nإلى أين تقصد يا سيدي في رحلتك هذه؟\nOh sir!
